Joslin House - 1911
Corner of Main and Mechanic Streets built by Nathan Joslin in 1844. A veranda and bandstand were added at sometime after 1850 with gathering and band concerts held there for many years. After several changes of ownership, James D. Ryan acquired the property in 1923. In October 1939, a fire leveled the entire wooden structure. The following year the hotel was re-built of brick by Emil Dupont, a local builder. It remains at this location today with a video rental store and rooms to rent.
